LonghornRoadTrip.com began as a way to chronicle the journey of one University of Texas senior in his attempt to attend every single Longhorn basketball game in the 2006-07 season. (For more on the origin of this idea, feel free to read a post detailing the original moments of insanity.)

But much like Doublemint Gum, Pringles, and Jaegerbombs, it was soon discovered that you can’t stop with just one. Ryan, site editor of LRT, is currently attempting to pull off the feat for a third-straight year. His streak of consecutive Longhorn games began at the Big 12 Tournament championship against Kansas in 2006 and is currently at 150 after the overtime loss to Wake Forest. It includes nine NCAA tournament games, eleven more at Big 12 tournaments, and three exhibitions.

The site also includes commentary on the world of college basketball and provides links to useful articles, websites, and blogs covering NCAA hoops.
